- Graduated May 2019
Major: Art History
Minor: Studio Art
Danny is especially prepared to help run the Madison Union Art Galleries as an art history major and studio art minor (with a concentration in drawing and painting no less). As a gallery intern for ArtWorks, an on campus gallery run by the JMU School of Art, Design and Art History, last year Daniel is more than ready to curate shows, organize contests, and more with his team!
Like many other Taddies, Daniel heard about TAD through a former Gallery Team member, Anna Jennings. “She told me what an amazing job TAD is and that there was going to be a job opening on the Gallery Team soon,” he said.
Daniel is most excited about the on-the-job experience he is going to gain at TAD. “I’m excited to work in my field and be away from just the art from the art school.”
He hopes to one day work as a professor of art history after an illustrious career as a gallery director in the city. If Daniel ever becomes a multi-millionaire he thinks he’d like to be a veterinarian assistant so he can play with dogs all day. With these amazing dreams Daniel is sure to succeed in TAD!
When not in a gallery or working on his school work, Daniel can be found watching Netflix, working out, hanging out with friends, or even indulging in a bit of non-class related painting and sketching.
Fun Fact: Daniel is allergic to raw celery and carrots! Well, we didn’t need those gross vegetables in the office anyway!
