James Madison University provides this service to help students, faculty, staff, and guests of the University report and recover lost items. All of the Lost & Found sites on campus use this service to document found items and lost item inquiries.
If you have lost an item on campus, please complete the lost item form. You may also inquire at the Lost & Found site closest to where the item was last seen.
If we find an item that matches your description, a staff member of the Lost & Found site holding the item will contact you. The person claiming a lost item must sign for the item and provide photo identification (unless item lost is a photo ID).
Found items may be turned in at any of the sites. Each Lost & Found site will keep items for a maximum of 120 days.
