Stressed out about your final exams? University Unions is here to help! Staff members at Madison Union (in Warren and Taylor Halls) and stival
stival are currently hard at work planning an inventive and exciting way to study during finals week called “Madison Study Union.”
From Sunday, December 11 to Tuesday, December 13, Festival and Taylor and Warren Halls will be open 24 hours a day to accommodate any study cycle.
“The unions offer a comfortable casual alternative to the libraries, residence halls, or apartments to prepare for exams,” says Joe Urgo, associate director of the University Unions. “TDU and JMad’s offer a more vibrant hangout, while meeting rooms in Taylor and Festival are open for group study or a more quiet setting.”
Free food will be offered in various locations of the Madison Union and Festival, and Dining Services will extend the hours of both Starbucks and Java City to supply students with adequate amounts of caffeine for those long nights of studying.
And if you need a break from that all-nighter, the Study Union’s got you covered. In addition to screening midnight movies in Grafton-Stovall Theater, the Union will provide free massages, courtesy of professional massage therapists, to help stressed students relax during finals week. Sign-ups will be available when finals week approaches.
