What exactly is Make Your Mark on Madison, or MYMOM?
The Fall MYMOM experience is a 10-week leadership development program for first-years, sophomores, juniors and seniors. The goal of the program for every participant is to obtain a sense of belonging, start to become more self-aware, and to begin to recognize their innate ability for self-authorship. In short, it emphasizes every student’s ability to make a difference on campus.
What does a typical Monday night look like as a participant?
Every Monday night will start with an optional, but encouraged, dinner with your leadership counselors (LCs). Then, at 7:00, we will have an external presenter that will introduce leadership topics like personal values, diversity, and difficult conversations. After the presentation, we will break out into council time which will consist of discussions and activities led by your two LCs.
