Welcome to LEAP!

The Dux Leadership Center has created the Leadership Enrichment Action Plan program (LEAP) to help you become a better leader. The program is designed to evaluate your past leader development experiences and then identify the best next step for you to take on your leadership development journey.

You will begin by taking the LEAP Inventory and then attending a one-on-one consultation to review the results. You will create a personalized action plan and follow-up consultations will be set up to track your progress, give you support, and help you be successful.

It’s that simple.

If you’re interested, the next step is to complete the LEAP Inventory. This will take you about 30 minutes. You can start the Inventory,stop and come back to it, if you want. It does not have to be done all at once. The more effort you put into completing the inventory, the more valuable information your consultant will have to help you.

You may be wondering how much more time all of this will take. Here’s a quick guide for you to think about:

  1. Register for the Program
  2. Complete the LEAP Inventory – 30 minutes
  3. Prepare for your first consultation – 15 minutes
  4. First Consultation – 30 minutes
  5. Follow-up Consultations – variable by individual
  6. Final Meeting & Evaluation – 30 minutes

Since each individual action plan will depend on the goals set, the personal time frame established, and the unique circumstances of each person, there is not any way for us to tell you how long your experience will last. Some students have completed their action plan in a few weeks, working a little bit at a time. Others have made the choice to spread out their efforts over the course of an entire semester, or more. It’s up to you.
