Student Activities and Involvement invites you to salsa dance to your heart’s content one Thursday a month at 7 pm in TDU. Bring your valentine this Thursday, February 13th, to Salsaburg, a free, instructional salsa–dancing party for all skill levels. Phil Fusaro of The Friendly City Dance Room will instruct attendees for part of the time on a new dance before letting dancers loose on the floor with DJ Junior. Last week, Phil brought an exhibition team of dancers and demonstrated a West African dance called the Kozumba. This week guests will discover bachata dancing.
The lights and music officially start at 7 pm and end at 11, but all are invited to stay and dance for as long as they feel the call. If you are a professional dancer looking to broaden your skills or a stranger to the dance floor just looking to move, come dance.
