Celestia Lorei serves as a Content Strategist for Technology and Design (TAD). This senior SMAD Creative Advertising major is always using her talents to help others. Unfortunately, Celestia was a late hire. She didn’t join TAD until the end of the summer in 2018. Since becoming a member of TAD, she has not hesitated to jump in and start working on any project, big or small!
Within the Union, she works with clients to develop social media strategies and create ideas for marketing materials. Celestia has an eye for detail and the creative initiative to encourage our clients to reach any goal by thinking outside of the box. Her passion for the work she does is evident in the amount of time and preparation she puts into her job. She always values feedback and takes it to heart in order to improve processes and client interactions. Celestia is truly a great member of the University Unions Student Staff and has helped make many events and programs a success with her fresh perspective! Celestia always lets her voice be heard when she has a new idea or if she doesn’t understand something. It’s important to her that every aspect of a project is taken into consideration.
Throughout the University Unions, Celestia has many responsibilities: she creates reports to show to TAD’s clients about how a project should be advertised, takes the time to assess events and programs after they happen to see where it can be improved next time, and meets with everyone to understand what they need and how their specific offices and events work. While she has a lot of responsibilities, they allow her to create individualized plans that are smart, efficient, and effective! Celestia truly puts her heart into all of the work that she does at TAD and you can see that in the way that she interacts with each of the departments within University Unions.
Celestia is always a positive influence on our TAD team and truly puts our clients first. She always listens to their concerns and helps to relieve any fears and frustrations that they might have. Celestia’s kindness extends to each member of our TAD staff. She is always a friendly face in the office and has quickly made herself a vital part of TAD by always being willing to volunteer when a hand is needed. Celestia will be truly missed after she graduates in December, but TAD and University Unions have truly been made better because of her presence.
