Christian DeSilva is a senior Computer Information Systems major and a member of the Web Development Team. The former RA found out about TAD when Brooke, one of the professional staff members, came to his class and talked about the department.
In his free time, Christian enjoys playing video games, reading, and cooking. He also enjoys playing Dungeons and Dragons with other RAs and some former residents. He is the Dungeon Master, meaning he runs the group and controls the story and course of the campaign. Though he doesn’t like to show it off, Christain can make a loud, popping noise with his tongue. This interesting talent can be heard echoing throughout the Commons when done right.
As a TAD employee, Christian hopes to learn more about the wide world of computer science, as well as how the other TAD teams operate.
He says that once you get to TAD, “You realize how much actually goes on here, and you pick up a lot…You can learn anything.”
In five years, he hopes to be out of Harrisonburg and living in the city. Which city? It doesn’t matter, but he’d like some pets to keep him company. His top choices at the moment are a sphynx cat or a pug. Ultimately, Christain wants to be, “content with life,” and having fulfilling experiences in the workforce, and with his future pets.
