We hire all year long.
(We are mostly waiting for the right person to come along.)
We will ask around about you.
We have our network of trusted advisers who help us recruit the best students for our department.
We hire the best fit.
We know who we are and want to get people who’ll fit into our family. Here’s just a few words that describe us: (How many describe you?)
hardworking · fun · quirky · witty · intelligent · determined · shy · passionate · self-starters · opinionated · friendly · introspective · geeky · chill · polished · creative
We hire genuine people. We don’t believe in masks because after a while they just come off! You are so much better at being yourself than pretending: so why settle for anything else?
What’s our Process?
1. Tour of the Office:
2. Big Interview:
We put you in a room with some of our best people and ask you a lot of questions. Some are hard, some are easy — but they all matter. We never interview an applicant unless we think he or she can join our group. We really respect both your time and our time, so we put an average of about 20 hours into finding a good interview candidate. After the interview we deliberate and talk about you. We ask each other how we think you did and look at your portfolio, dissecting it, analyzing and comparing it to our expectations or competing candidates’ portfolios. We then ask you to rejoin us and we critique you on your interview. This might seem unusual, but we think you need to know how you portray yourself during interviews.
Every position that creates something for TAD requires a demo. Your demo should be a demonstration of your capabilities, methodology, concept, and application of talents to a particular project or test. Remember: actions speak much louder than words. We want to see you apply what you know to what you do, and we want to see you push yourself.
