Mad 4U happily invites you to our March Retreat Afternoon with Grayson Pritchard and the inner martial arts introduction! Mar.23rd, 1pm – 5pm, MU402
Grayson Pritchard recently completed a four year graduate-level program and is currently in the process of attaining licensure to practice acupuncture in Virginia.
During the years of his training, Grayson studied various arts and techniques including tui namanual therapy, cupping and moxibustion, among others. One of his goals is to help people maintain a level of health that does not require constant doctor visits and prescriptions.
Preventative care is just one of the many ways in which Chinese medicine helps keep us healthy. Exercises like qi gong and the internal martial arts of tai chi, ba gua, and xing yi are all very effective methods of cultivating good health.
A few of the benefits of regular practice include improvements in:
- Muscle strength and coordination
- Balance and proprioception
- Circulation and immune system function
- Mental clarity and peace of mind
- (and not to mention, a solid foundation in self defense!)
