Sigma Phi Delta

The Beta-Theta chapter of the Sigma Phi Delta fraternity was chartered at James Madison University on February 11, 2012. Since that day, the brothers of Sig Phi have dedicated their time and efforts towards promoting education and the engineering profession, both inside and outside of JMU.

In the Spring of 2013, Sigma Phi Delta became the first Social and Professional fraternity to be recognized by the Interfraternity Council of James Madison University. While the chapters’ primary goals are to advance our members professionally and academically, we also seek to grow in brotherhood and host regular social events.

Sig Phi is looking for male engineering students who practice our values of Science, Friendship, and Duty in their everyday lives. These individuals are personified by their leadership ability, academic curiosity/determination, and friendly demeanor. If you are interested, please visit our JMU Beinvolved page or contact our chapter president.
