Interfraternity Council

Our Mission:  To foster the advancement of the men’s social fraternities at James Madison University.

Our Purpose:  The purpose of the IFC shall be to dedicate itself to the advancement of fraternal excellence in the following areas:  community development, risk management, scholarship, community service, member recruitment and education, and alumni/public relations.

IFC Judicial Board

When a violation of the Standards Policy by an Interfraternity Council Member Organization allegedly occurs, the incident is investigated by the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life.  Should sufficient evidence exist, the case is resolved by an Interfraternity Council Judicial Hearing Board.  For more information about this process, please see the resources listed below.

Interfraternity Council Recruitment
