Fraternity and Sorority Membership Linked to Higher Well-Being for College Grads

The Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life is proud to provide a community that enriches the experience of our members and produces students that align with their organization’s values and JMU’s vision of “preparing students to be educated and enlightened citizens who lead productive and meaningful lives.”

New research shows that after graduation, fraternity and sorority members are more likely than their non-Greek counterparts to find fulfillment in daily work and interactions, to have strong social relationships and access to the resources people need, to feel financially secure, to be physically healthy, and to take part in a true community.
