Finals are stressful, so why not come home to breath and body with MAD4U’s Mindful Experience Retreat Day? On April 23rd from 1-5pm in the Festival Highland Room, Dr. Karin Tollefson-Hall and Dr. Liam Buckley will be hosting a day to get in touch with your calm interiority before finals take over. With many different experiences, topics and activities, Mindful Experience Retreat Day will calm your mind and center your body. With special guest Chakra Kahn, the day will prove to be illuminating in all the best ways before a big week. In the past, meditation, yoga and various mindfulness exercises have led participants through a four-hour trip into a tranquil state-of-mind, which can improve performance during high stress situations.
